Govt dismisses report claiming India rejected quick US trade deal, calls it 'false & baseless'

Union Minister Piyush Goyal has dismissed a report claiming India rejected a quick trade deal with the US and was holding out for better terms, saying, "This news is completely false, baseless and misleading." Adding that he had a "fantastic" meeting with a US trade representative in June, he stated, "Our teams remain fully engaged in achieving this."
