Govt extends 50% GST support for central police canteen purchases

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday announced that it will continue providing 50% financial assistance on GST for purchases made from the central police canteen, known as 'Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar'. This decision shall be effective from 1st April 2024, MHA added. KPKB initiative serves as a welfare measure for personnel of CAPFs, CPOs, Police Forces, and their families.
