Govt extends commercial LPG allocation for select industries

The Petroleum Ministry has increased the allocation of commercial LPG to certain industries, including pharma and uranium. Eligible industrial units can now receive up to 70% of their pre-March consumption, however allocation will be capped at a sectoral limit of 0.2 TMT per day. The order directs states to prioritise allocation to units which cannot substitute LPG with natural gas.
