Nitin Gadkari signs off on rules allowing 100% ethanol in vehicles

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday said he has signed the file finalising regulations to legally authorise the use of 100% ethanol in vehicles. He added that automakers, including Toyota, MG and Hyundai, are expected to launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Earlier this month, petrol mixed with 85% ethanol was launched in Delhi.
