The government has finalised rules to regulate airfares and will publish them within two weeks, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court on Friday. The court was hearing a petition challenging arbitrary and exorbitant airfares charged by private airlines. The hearing comes as domestic airfares rise ahead of the festive season.
