Govt forms new trade advisory body; onboards TCS CEO, KKR India chief

The government has constituted a new Board of Trade, an advisory body to the Commerce and Industry Ministry. The 29-member board has been constituted by merging it with the existing Council for Trade Development and Promotion (CTDP), a notification by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade announced. The body includes TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan and KKR India Chairman Sanjay Nayyar.
