Govt had no role to play in Sheikh Hasina's presser; doesn't endorse anything: MEA

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India "had no role to play" in the "private" press conference organised and addressed by ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina in Delhi. "The government doesn't endorse anything said at the forum, especially with regard to the duly constituted government of Bangladesh," he said. Bangladesh had "deeply regretted" that New Delhi permitted the August 5 event.
