Govt has approved Chandrayaan-3, the project is ongoing: ISRO Chief

ISRO Chairman K Sivan on Wednesday said the government has approved India's third Moon mission Chandrayaan-3 and that the project is ongoing. "We've made good progress on Chandrayaan-2...even though we couldn't land successfully, the orbiter is still functioning," Sivan added. He also said that land acquisition for a second spaceport has been initiated, which will be in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
