Govt has run a bulldozer over MGNREGA: Sonia Gandhi

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi accused the Modi government of bulldozing MGNREGA. She said by weakening the MGNREGA government had attacked the interests of crores of farmers, labourers and the landless across the country. “Not only was Mahatma Gandhi’s name removed, but the form and structure of MGNREGA were changed arbitrarily, without taking the Opposition into confidence,” she added.
