Govt hikes flight capacity to 85%, fare band applicable for 15 days a month only

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has increased the passenger capacity in domestic flights from 72.5% to 85% and also relaxed rules regarding fare bands. Airlines are now only required to stick to fare bands for 15 days a month. For a flight ticket booked on September 20, for example, the fare band will be applicable till October 4.
