Govt hikes Minimum Support Prices for 14 Kharif crops, shares list

The Centre has approved the increase in the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for 14 Kharif crops for Marketing Season 2025-26. The highest absolute increase in MSP over the previous year has been recommended for niger seed (₹820 per quintal), followed by Ragi (₹596 per quintal), Cotton (₹589 per quintal) and Sesamum. For groundnut, there's an increase of ₹480 per quintal.
