Govt is taking proactive action: PM at review meeting on COVID-19

PM Narendra Modi on Thursday held a review meeting with senior officials on the COVID-19 situation amid rising Omicron cases and said the government is taking proactive measures. "Important for states to ensure oxygen supply equipment is installed, fully functional," he said. The Centre will also send teams to states with low vaccination coverage and rising coronavirus cases, PMO said.
