Govt issues advisory against publishing NCERT book's controversial content on judiciary

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued an advisory asking online news publishers, internet users, and intermediaries to refrain from publishing or sharing Class 8 NCERT book and its controversial content on Judiciary. The government told intermediaries to remove URLs where book has been uploaded. The Supreme Court had asked Centre to ensure that the book is removed from all platforms.
