Govt issues guidelines for vaccination of pregnant women against COVID-19

The government issued guidelines for vaccination of pregnant women against COVID-19. It said in case a woman gets COVID-19 during pregnancy, she should get vaccinated after delivery. It further said pregnant women aged over 35, obese women and those having pre-existing illness like diabetes are at a higher risk of developing complications due to COVID-19 and should get vaccinated.
