Govt launches 'mAadhaar' app for Aadhaar data on phone

The Unique Identification Authority of India has launched 'mAadhaar', a new app for syncing Aadhaar data on mobile phones. The app allows users to carry their Aadhaar information including name, date of birth, gender, address, and the linked photograph, on their smartphones. The app also allows users to lock or unlock biometrics data.
