Govt lifts gas supply curbs as LNG flows from Middle East resume

The government has withdrawn its order imposing curbs on gas suppliers as supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has resumed from Middle East, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said on Saturday. The government had invoked emergency measures in March to divert gas supplies from non-priority sectors to key users after LNG shipments through Strait of Hormuz were disrupted.
