Govt likely to invite financial bids for Shipping Corp sale in Q4

The Centre is likely to invite financial bids for the privatisation of the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) in the March quarter, an official said, adding that the demerger of non-core and land assets is at an advanced stage. In May, the SCI Board approved the demerger to a new company, Shipping Corporation of India Land and Assets Ltd (SCILAL).
