Govt loses ₹1,757 crore as BSNL fails to bill Reliance for 10 yrs

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) revealed that BSNL failed to bill Reliance Jio for 10 years (May 2014- March 2024) under their passive infrastructure sharing agreement, leading to a loss of ₹1,757.56 crore to the government. Additionally, BSNL incurred a ₹38.36 crore loss due to non-deduction of license fees.
