Govt may unveil more relief measures for MSMEs hit by Iran war: Report

The government may announce more relief measures for MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) if the West Asia crisis continues, sources told PTI. Earlier this month, a RELIEF Scheme worth ₹497 crore was launched to offset increased insurance and freight costs for MSME exporters. Global crude oil prices have increased by nearly 50% since February 28, Moneycontrol reported, citing PTI.
