Govt moves 16.68 lakh official email accounts to Zoho Cloud

Centre has moved around 16.68 lakh official email accounts to a Zoho-operated cloud-based platform, with total spending reaching ₹180.10 crore, the government said. It was carried out by National Informatics Centre (NIC), which selected Zoho as Master System Integrator. The officials said it aims to create "sovereign and secure" email system, with full ownership of data remaining with government.
