Govt offers up to ₹14 crore to attract Indian-origin talent back to India

The Centre is offering financial support worth up to ₹14 crore under the PM Research Chair Scheme to attract Indian-origin researchers and scientists back to India. The support includes fellowship fee, research grant, residential and medical allowance, relocation benefit and operational cost, which will be paid over five years. Senior Fellows will get support worth up to ₹6.85 crore.
