Govt opposes Telegram's plea against ban, promises to show 'something shocking'

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing in the Delhi High Court on behalf of the Centre to oppose Telegram's plea challenging its temporary ban, pressed for the matter to be heard on Thursday. "If my lords keep it tomorrow...there is something shocking that I will show," he said. The court directed the Centre to file its reply along with supporting documents.
