Govt orders probe into Ola, Okinawa e-scooter fire incidents in Pune, Vellore

The central government has ordered a probe into the recent incidents of electric scooters catching fire. The development comes after Ola's S1 Pro scooter and an Okinawa scooter caught fire in Pune and Vellore, respectively. The DRDO's Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety will investigate the circumstances that led to the explosion or fire in these cases.
