Govt orders takedown of 3 malicious loan apps on Google Play Store

The government has ordered Google to remove three malicious loan apps from the Play Store, Moneycontrol reported, citing a notice. The apps, Horizon Cash Service, Money Score Monitor and Zelicredit, allegedly demanded exorbitant interest from borrowers and harvested sensitive information from users' devices. Earlier this month, authorities ordered Google to take down six other such apps.
