Govt planning to add 21 airports under Krishi Udan scheme: Scindia

The central government is planning to add 21 airports under the Krishi Udan scheme, which provides special flights for quick transportation of agricultural produce, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said. He claimed that lemon, jackfruit and grapes grown in the North East are transported not just in India but to other nations like Germany and Singapore, under the scheme.
