Govt plans COVID-era credit relief for trade amid Iran war: Report

Finance Ministry is considering an over ₹2-lakh crore credit scheme as a precautionary measure to mitigate the impact of West Asia war on businesses in India, NDTV Profit reported. The new scheme, modelled on the COVID-era Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, could be rolled out within the next 15 days. The scheme may offer collateral-free loans backed by government guarantees.
