Govt probes fragrance firms over their deal not to poach rivals' staff
Competition Commission of India (CCI) is probing global fragrance makers Givaudan, Firmenich and International Flavors & Fragrances for striking anti-poaching deals, Reuters reported citing documents. CCI alleged these firms had an understanding, called a "gentlemen's agreement", not to hire or poach employees from rivals or customers. Such deals restrict job opportunities and wages, CCI said.
