Govt reiterates there's no fuel or LPG shortage, flags 'mischievous campaign of misinformation'

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas reiterated that there's no petrol, diesel or LPG shortage, while emphasising that India is an "oasis of energy security". It warned people against a "deliberately mischievous...campaign of misinformation" which is sparking panic buying. "Few [countries] have declared 'National Energy Emergency'. India DOES NOT FEEL THE NEED FOR ANY SUCH MEASURES," it added.
