Govt releases COVID-19 containment plan for large outbreaks as cases cross 3,000

With over 3,000 coronavirus cases, government has released a 'containment plan', which follows a scenario-based approach. Geographic quarantine, which involves "near absolute interruption of movement of people" will be applicable to areas reporting multiple clusters. Containment operations will be scaled down only if no new cases are reported for at least 4 weeks after the last confirmed test.
