Govt restores tax sops to help exporters amid West Asia crisis
The Centre has restored Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) rates and caps from March 23 to support exporters hit by the Iran war and West Asia disruptions. The move reverses the 50% cut imposed earlier, helping offset higher freight and logistics costs. Along with the RELIEF initiative, it aims to boost export competitiveness and ensure trade continuity.
