Govt sets daily LPG output target of 63,810 tons, 2-times of FY26 output

The government has set a maximum LPG domestic production target of 63,810 tons per day, nearly double the domestic daily output of around 35,900 tons in FY26. India consumed around 91,000 tons daily in FY26, out of which 35,900 tons was produced domestically and 58,400 tons was imported. This comes after India's LPG supply was disrupted amid West Asia crisis.
