Centre asserted there's no LPG shortage, while noting that 800 TMT of assured LPG cargoes are en route from US, Russia, Australia, etc. It added that the daily LPG output of domestic refineries has been pushed to 50 TMT, more than 60% of India's daily requirement of 80 TMT. "Approximately one full month of supply is firmly arranged," it said.
