Govt should leave people & their animals alone: Musk as pet squirrel euthanised in US

Elon Musk said, "The government should leave people and their animals alone," after an Instagram-famous pet squirrel named Peanut was seized and euthanised by US authorities. In another X post Musk wrote, "Government overreach kidnapped an orphan squirrel and executed him." The squirrel was seized from its caretaker's home and euthanised after it bit a person involved with the investigation.
