Govt shouldn't have asked Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar to tweet: Raj Thackeray

MNS chief Raj Thackeray said the Centre shouldn't have asked Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar to tweet in support of its stand after international celebrities tweeted in support of farmers' protest. "They're recipients of Bharat Ratna. Actors like Akshay Kumar were enough for this," Thackeray said. He added that by doing so Centre has put the duo's reputation at stake.
