Govt summons Meta's global team on Aug 5-6 over PM video row

The government has summoned Meta's global team for meetings on August 5 and 6 to discuss concerns over platform accountability, IT secretary S Krishnan said. Issues including the handling of child sexual abuse material and action against prominent accounts will be raised. The discussions come days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Facebook post was briefly restricted on the platform.
