Govt support turns J&K youth into strawberry entrepreneurs

Centre, along with Horticulture Department, is providing subsidies to local youth in J&K's Udhampur, helping them become strawberry entrepreneurs. Local Vinod Sharma has shifted from growing conventional crops to high-value strawberries on his 12-kanal land. "I get ₹13,000 as subsidy per kanal...I produce 200-250 packets...each day," he said, urging more people to reap benefits of this initiative.
