Govt takes back order for airlines to offer 60% seats without any extra charge

Government has put on hold an order mandating that at least 60% seats in any flight will be offered free of charge. "The matter has been reviewed in light of representations received from the Federation of Indian Airlines and Akasa Air, highlighting operational and commercial implications of the provision," the new order said.
