Govt to acquire Vodafone Idea stake after share price stabilises at ₹10 or above: Report

The government will acquire around 33% stake in debt-ridden Vodafone Idea (Vi) after the stock price of the company stabilises at ₹10 or above, Hindustan Times reported quoting official source. The company's board has reportedly offered a stake to the government at a par value of ₹10 per share. Notably, Vi shares are trading below ₹10 since April 19, 2022.
