Govt to install 360 kW EV chargers on highways for bus, trucks

The central government plans to install 360 kW high-capacity electric vehicle chargers along highways, expressways, and bus stops. These chargers will reduce charging time for heavy-duty and premium EVs to just 15 minutes. This move aims to boost EV adoption by improving charging convenience, especially for long-distance travel, supporting our goal of faster electrification of transportation.
