Govt to invest ₹12,500 cr to build 2,500 km LPG pipeline network

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board announced a ₹12,500 crore investment for developing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) pipeline infrastructure across the country. Bidding has been opened for four such projects spanning around 2,500 km. The project will link sources such as refineries and import terminals with LPG bottling plants, improving safety and efficiency in LPG distribution.
