Govt to invite applications for next SEBI chief in Nov: Report

The Ministry of Finance will float an advertisement inviting applications for the post of SEBI's Chairperson next month, NDTV Profit reported. SEBI's current head Madhabi Puri Buch's tenure will end in February 2025. While it's not clear whether her term will be extended, the application process has to be followed, the report said.
