Govt to launch 'Bharat Taxi' ride-hailing app in 2 months

Government has proposed to launch 'Bharat Taxi' in one or two months, announced Union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah. Bharat Taxi, India's first cooperative ride-hailing app, aims to reduce the dependence of commercial vehicle drivers on private companies like Ola and Uber. "There are many companies...engaged in operation of taxis, but profit goes to owners, not taxi drivers," said Shah.
