Govt to recruit nearly 55,000 jawans in armed police forces

In a massive recruitment drive, the government has advertised for nearly 55,000 job openings in armed police forces, out of which 47,307 vacancies are for men and 7,646 for women. The maximum vacancies, 21,566 posts, are for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The salaries will range from ₹69,100 to ₹21,700, and the last date for application is August 20.
