Govt to set up life insurance company in cooperative sector: Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said a cooperative life insurance company will be established to strengthen the cooperative movement in India. The initiative will build on the success of Bharat Taxi, a cooperative transport platform, he said. Shah further highlighted that the government has taken many policy initiatives to make the cooperative system modern, technology-enabled, and competitive.
