'Govt trying to halve time for environmental clearance'

The Government is trying to reduce the time taken for granting forest and environment clearances to industrial projects by half to 50-60 days, Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave said on Sunday. "Earlier, it used to take 300 days... Now, it is taking 120 days," he said. "If you face any (problem), call me directly," he added.
