Govt urges firms to patch risks in 12 hours amid AI cyberattacks

India's Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has urged firms to patch exploited vulnerabilities within 12 hours of being flagged where feasible amid a rise in AI-powered cyber attacks. The cybersecurity authority has issued a 38-page blueprint to guard internet-facing systems from cyberattacks. CERT-In has also recommended resolving vulnerabilities in high-severity systems within five days.
