Govt warns Indians against joining Russian armed forces amid war, issues advisory

The government has issued an advisory for Indians, cautioning them against travelling to Russia to join its armed forces amid war. "This is a dangerous path and is strongly discouraged," the MEA said, adding that some Indians were also willing to give up their citizenship. "Individuals should consider gravity of such actions....and understand the mortal dangers," the MEA further said.
