Govt warns of widespread LPG booking scams, lists ways to stay safe

Home Affairs Ministry issued a warning against fake LPG booking scams, explaining how fraudsters are using them to target consumers. The scammers target consumers via SMS, WhatsApp and social media ads, scare them by falsely claiming there's an LPG shortage and collect data or money using fake websites/apps/QR codes. The ministry asked consumers to book LPG cylinders via official app/website.
