Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on Friday said his government will promote chess in schools and colleges. His comment comes after he handed the Chess Olympiad relay torch to Padmini Rout at a function in Bhubaneswar's Lokaseva Bhavan. It's a proud moment for India as it is hosting such an international event in the 75th year of Independence, Patnaik added.
