Grab CEO briefly turns billionaire before ride-hailing app loses $17 bn in m-cap

Southeast Asia's biggest ride-hailing and delivery app Grab fell over 20% in US stock market debut on Thursday, wiping about $17 billion from its market capitalisation. Its Co-founder and CEO Anthony Tan briefly became a billionaire before the value of his stake dropped to $725 million. "The price makes no difference...I'm going to celebrate tonight," Tan said after the listing.
